Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ!

Having celebrated the Christmas holidays, we enter the new 2012 year with new hopes and ideas. Every one of us makes resolutions for this year to serve our family and God and live by the message He gives us. In the same way, we, as a community of Christians, are all called to reexamine the teachings of God’s Word, so that it can be accessible to everybody. Therefore, based on the spiritual needs of our parishioners, we, your pastors, have decided to introduce some changes so that to better accept and preach God’s Word, namely on Sundays:

1.The Divine Liturgy at 8am will be served in the English Language.
2. The Divine Liturgy at 9:30 am will be served in the Ukrainian Language.
3.The Liturgy at 11:30am will be designated for children, with the service in Ukrainian, though the readings and homily will be geared to children in both languages.

Our Parish is composed of a congregation who were led by God to serve Him in this community. Some of us have been raised in this country and have worked their entire lives to building the churches we worship in today,others have appreciated the home they have been welcomed in to. We cannot forget that God also calls the people who have come here recently from Ukraine. May the all-merciful God send His Holy Spirit on our parish so that we may continue our journey in serving Him and work for the Glory of God and Future Generations.

Відсвяткувавши  Різдв`яні свята, входимо у 2012 рік з новими надіями та задумами. Кожен із нас робить собі постанови на цей рік, щоб як найкраще його прожити в служінні Богові та нашим ближнім. В той самий спосіб ми, як спільнота християн, також покликані переосмислювати проповідування Слова Божого, щоб воно було доступним для нас усіх. І тому, виходячи з духовних потреб наших парафіян, ми, ваші отці-душпастирі, вирішили ввести певні зміни, для кращого сприйняття і проповідування цього Слова Божого, а саме у неділю:

1.Божественна Літургія о 8-ій годині ранку - буде служитися англійською мовою.
2.Божественна Літургія о 9.30 - українською.
3.Божественна Літургія о 11.30 -Літургія для дітей (в основному українською, читання Св. Письма і проповідь - на двох мовах).

Наша парафія складається з вірних, яких Бог у своєму промислі привів до цього храму. Дехто з нас, приїхав до цієї благодатної землі вже давно і збудував нашу парафію, інші, народилися вже тут на американській землі і розвинули її. Господь кличе також людей, які потребують духовної опіки і в теперішньому часі приїхавши з України. Нехай Всемилостивий Господь зішле Святого Духа на нашу парафію, щоб ми продовжували служити та працювати на Славу Божу і для Майбутніх Поколінь.
